Executive Director, CleanTX
Andrea joined CleanTX in March 2013 to spearhead business development and strategic partnerships, and has served as Executive Director since November 2013. During Andrea’s time at CleanTX, the organization has matured into an internationally recognized cluster development group, fostering collaboration and trade in the clean energy sector. Prior to working at CleanTX, Andrea spent a year traveling and freelancing, working as a farm-to-table chef in Mallorca, Spain, consulting on sustainable development projects, and eventually settling down in Austin. She has also lived in New York City, where she taught high school through Teach for America and began working in the energy sector as a business development director for a clean energy association. Andrea attended Duke University where she earned a B.A. of Environmental Science & Policy and Earth & Ocean Science, and studied Natural Resource Economics in Brazil. She speaks Spanish and Portuguese.
