Heather Ladage was named publisher of the Austin Business Journal in February 2012 where she leads a 20-person staff to top performance across all areas of the media business – print and online audience development, marketing strategy, advertising and sponsorship revenue, creative design, business integrity and editorial vision. She has spent more than a decade with American City Business Journals where she won the company’s highest honor – the Chairman’s Eagle Award for Excellence in 2004, 2005, 2007, 2012 and 2013. Ladage currently serves on the advisory boards for The National Association of Corporate Directors Texas Tricities Chapter and Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur Of The Year Austin program, as well as on the boards of the Austin Chamber of Commerce, the Better Business Bureau and United Way for Greater Austin. She is a previous board member of the Austin Advertising Federation, Boys & Girls Clubs Emerging Leaders, Seton Forum and the Ballet Austin Guild. She and her husband support the Development Council for HAAM and co-chaired the 2012 Austin Film & Food Party and 2013 Ballet Austin Fete. In 2013 she was named Outstanding Austin Communicator by Women Communicators of Austin.
