Executive Director – Marketing, Burkhead Brand Group
Locke is currently the Executive Director of Marketing for the Burkhead Brand Group, where he leads their Cleantech practice. He has over fifteen years of experience doing business development and strategy for media and early stage technology companies in the US, EMEA and Latin America. He began his career in strategy and business development at Turner Broadcasting and CNN.
A long time environmentalist, Locke first got involved with sustainability issues while working as an analyst for the European Bureau of Conservation and Development, a lobby group to the European Parliament. Locke recently relocated to the Triangle from New York City, where he helped launch Bloomberg.com’s Sustainability vertical and is a founding member of the North Carolina Chapter of Environmental Entrepreneurs (E2).
