Roger Kranenburg is the Vice President of Energy Strategy and Policy at Eversource, where he is responsible for shaping and executing the company’s long-term energy strategy, leading transportation electrification initiatives, and overseeing federal affairs related to funding and regulatory matters. With extensive experience in energy sector transformation, investment, and operations, he previously advised major utilities and global corporations at IHS Markit (now S&P Global).

Prior to his tenure at Eversource, Mr. Kranenburg held leadership roles at the Edison Electric Institute, where he played a key role in shaping energy policy, including the passage of the Energy Policy Act of 2005. His early career included leading wireless telecommunications infrastructure projects at Teligent and spearheading automation and power electronics systems development at Siemens. A CFA charterholder, he holds advanced degrees in electrical engineering and an MBA from the University of Houston, along with executive education from Harvard Business School. He serves on the Board of Directors for the Woodwell Climate Research Center and as an advisory board member for Flexnode
