Sadia Raveendran

I am the VP of Industry Solutions at Uplight, the leading provider of end-to-end customer-centric energy optimization solutions that leverage the industry leading DERMS and VPP platform. With nearly 15 years of experience in clean energy technologies, I help utilities, energy companies, and end consumers unlock the value of distributed energy resources (DERs) and achieve their decarbonization and grid modernization goals.

Prior to the Uplight acquisition of AutoGrid, I was a VP of Industry Solutions at AutoGrid, the pioneer of flexibility management software for the energy industry. There, I led the partnership with Schneider Electric, a global leader in energy management and automation, and delivered joint solutions that leveraged AutoGrid Flex™, the industry leading DERMS and VPP platform. I also partnered with AutoGrid’s customers to design and implement flexibility management programs that optimized the operation and integration of DERs, such as solar, wind, battery, and demand response. Previously, I worked at GE Renewable Energy, MIT Energy Initiative, and Tata Power, where I gained extensive knowledge and experience in various clean energy technologies, such as biomass, solar PV, carbon capture, and wind. I hold a master’s degree in Technology & Policy from MIT and a bachelor’s degree in Physics and Economics (Honors) from Wellesley College. I also completed the International Baccalaureate at UWC Mahindra College.
