Catherine Garcia Flowers

Catherine has spent over 20 years working to improve people’s lives and improve communities. She is the current Volunteer Chair of the City of Houston’s Climate Action Plan Equity Committee. Prior work includes creating and leading the City of Houston’s Department of Neighborhoods, serving as a regional Community Reinvestment Act officer at Capital One Bank, and serving as CEO of Bread of Life, a Houston based non-profit.
