Erika Myers is the Director of Global E-Mobility at World Resources Institute (WRI) Ross Center for Sustainable Cities. She has worked for nearly two decades on clean energy, alternative transportation fuels and distributed energy resource topics in government, for-profit and non-profit roles. At WRI, she leads the electric mobility team’s research and implementation efforts in coordination with 10 international offices to decarbonize transportation through vehicle electrification and sustainable mobility, particularly in developing countries.

Erika is a frequent guest speaker at major industry events and has published dozens of reports and white papers on electric vehicle and clean energy issues. She is a board member of Forth and has received numerous awards, including the 2022 Remarkable Women in Transport by the Transformative Urban Mobility Initiative (TUMI) and a 2021 Top Woman in Electric Vehicles for Policy & Advocacy by DriveElectric.

Her professional background gives her a unique perspective on the opportunity to leverage renewable energy and electric vehicle charging to reduce emissions through the widespread deployment of vehicle-grid integration. Erika ‘walks the talk’ by owning two battery electric vehicles powered by 100% renewable energy, which she manages through a networked Level 2 residential charger at her home in the Washington, D.C. area.
