Janisse Quiñones

As the past Senior Vice President of Electric Operations at Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E), I oversaw the safe and reliable delivery of electricity to over 16 million customers in Northern and Central California. I have more than 20 years of work experience in the energy and engineering sectors, as well as in the U.S. Coast Guard, where I still serve as a Commander. I hold a Professional Engineer license in five states, and have a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Advanced Studies in International Relations. I have strong skills in operations, engineering, project management, energy efficiency, and HVAC, and have led multiple large-scale teams and initiatives to improve the performance, safety, and sustainability of the electric and gas infrastructure. I am passionate about serving the public and the environment, and I strive to foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability within my team and across the organization. I believe that my diverse background and perspectives can contribute to the climate change goals and utilities’ mission of delivering clean, affordable, and reliable energy to our customers and communities.
