David I. McGeown

David McGeown is a member of the contractor support team for the US Army Office of Energy Initiatives. As the Senior Advisor for utilities he helps his government clients to collaborate with the energy industry to structure energy projects to meet the energy resilience and carbon pollution free (CFE) electricity goals at U.S. Army installations.

David leads McGeown Associates energy practice. He is an internationally recognized expert in implementing clean energy programs for governments and utilities, with over 30 years for experience.  He focuses on opportunities that combine financing and technology to help develop new applications for energy efficiency, smart grids, storage, renewable energy and distributed generation.
